|When To Go
If you plan on visiting during a peak season – the summer, Spring Break or
close to any major holiday – be sure to secure your reservations as soon as
possible. If you wait too long for accommodations, airline, and car rental
reservations, they may be completely booked or more expensive.
Central Florida boasts beautiful weather year round, with an average annual
temperature of 72°, If you’re looking for sunshine, spring and summer are the
best time of the year to visit Orlando. The average temperature is 85° during
those seasons. However, theme parks are most crowded during Spring Break,
from mid-June to mid-August and on three-day holiday weekends such as
Memorial Day and Labor Day.
If you’re looking to avoid crowds, fall and winter are the best time of the year to
visit Orlando (except during holiday weekends, of course!). Attendance at the
theme parks is lightest from mid-September until just before Thanksgiving, and
after Thanksgiving until the arrival of Christmas, and then mid- to late January.
